Halloween Apparition 2011
It was a windy cold night on Kloey's 1st Halloween. I had just put her down when I heard a noise from her room. Luckily, since we had been taking pictures of her in her flying monkey costume, I had my camera close at hand...
As I entered the room I "felt" an eerie glow float over my shoulder and into the room....

The apparition swam and darted through the air leaving trails of phosphorescent ectoplasm...

and seemingly inquisitively stopped right above Kloey's face.

She stared into the light as it effortlessly danced above her...

shaking and gyrating in a playful dance.

Swarming above her as if it was creating a field of energy suspending her bottle for her.

She looked to her Daddy to ask if I approved of her new friend.

And reached up and started tickling "it" and giggled with glee...

And looked to me for approval again.

They played together in her crib until her new friend cuddled her to sleep safely through the night.

Happy Halloween 2011!

Babymoon photos
We wanted to take one last road trip together before Baby G comes, so we scampered down the PCH and stopped off at McWay Falls (which is a lovely 80 foot high waterfall that tumbles over a cliff and into the ocean).
We headed east to Las Vegas to see Cirque Du Soleil's "O" A gift from my sweet thoughtful wife.
I've always wanted to see it since it's the only Cirque that's water and diving based.
It was pretty awesome.
We stayed at Tahiti Village, which we recommend for families as it has great water features, kitchenettes, gas BBQ pits and more.
In the Bellagio, we found a giant garden and felt like we were in "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids".
We had a blast even though it was HOT and Amy's feet hurt from me dragging her around to attractions.
SORRY Love Bug! Thank you so much.

Allen and Amy are Happy to Announce.......
Hey Everyone!
Allen and I are excited to announce that on October 31st we are expecting a new addition to our family. That's right! It's official, We're having a baby! In five weeks we'll let you know whether it's a boy or a girl. so start placing you're bets.
Here are some pictures of our baby so far. I thought our first months photo's were funny because it looks like a choo choo train, and following in it's mom and dad's footsteps couldn't stay still.
In the most recent ultra sound, the baby was just like me, while sleeping, the Dr. tired to wiggle it awake so it would roll over. The baby did not like it, so every time it was wiggled, it would kick to tell her to leave it alone.
We're excited!
We love you all!

A co-worker wanted to know the details and ACTUAL price of our cruise...
My conclusion: cheap way to spend
- 1 day of fun in Bahamas
- 1 day at Disney world
- get a taste of cruising
- and 1 week away from work
- while getting a lot of laughs about the "cheapness"
Our Bahama Cruise information (video) if you're interested:
We took this trip last week (Sep 2009) and some people asked about the price, details and, "if it's a scam?".
Package Includes:
- 3nights cruise to Nassau Bahamas on the Bahamas Celebration from imperial majesty
- 4 nights in Orlando and/or Ft. Lauderdale Ramada Inn (welcome center)- Orlando (actually Kissamee is the nicer but the ship ports in Ft. Lauderdale
- AND 1week Budget car rental OR $100 for gas OR Universal Studios Hollywood tickets)
- All Meals included (at hotels and on cruise ship)
- $398 per couple (we opted to upgrade that to a top deck window cabin)
- $258 Ship porting fees + taxes
- Upon arrival guests pay only Florida taxes on the hotel stay (~$15 p/night)
- 1 week car rental (~$65 if you claim 1 driver)
- Hotel buffets (~$2.50 p/person)
- Sit through your standard "low-pressure" time share presentation on one of the mornings on land (we really want to buy one eventually, but said "not now, thank you" and they presented very tempting foreclosure deals thereafter)
- On the cruise is where you can decide your Bahama Excursion: We chose the ATLANTIS AQUAVENTURE and tour. A waterside park merged with spectacular aquariums = By far the best part of our trip. There are watersides through shark tanks and into piranha aquarium surrounded caves. (awesome and worth the admittance price of $150ea)
- The beds on cruises are bunk-style so we put the mattresses together on the floor
- must book your reservations within a year of purchase
- we spread out the cost by purchasing in spring, buying our plane tickets in fall and traveling in late summer
- must love buffets (the cruise food was actually really good)
- must have the ability to have fun laughing at hokey decor, accommodations, salesmen and while waiting in porting lines
We purchased from Imperial Majesty:
Direct line to "Opal": 1-954-630-9449 dial 0 for operator and extension 4134 for Opal
Use our reference number: RI 101 708-071 OV (under your "friend's friend" Amy P.) for an additional discount
